About Us

Welcome to Country Cream Interiors, your independent British home specialist in timeless dining tables, versatile bookcases, and elegant space-saving shoe storage cabinets.

Our Derbyshire Heritage on Pelham Street

Our practical story began on Pelham Street (occupying our charming double-fronted premises across units 2–4) in the historic market town of Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Trading locally as Country Cream Interiors, our shopfront has long been an inviting fixture—readily recognized by our soft sage-green sign and warm country-living displays.

For decades, local homeowners and countryside cottagers have visited our showroom for interior design advice, comforting textiles, and handcrafted furniture pieces. Over countless conversations at our counter, we learned that a welcoming home is built on two simple principles: warmth and organization. A home needs a generous dining table where families linger over Sunday roasts, open display bookcases to showcase beloved books and ceramics, and thoughtful hallway shoe cabinets that immediately tuck away muddy countryside wellies and trainers.

The Launch of Our Dedicated Online Furniture Store

Too often, mass-market furniture retailers provide cold, soulless flat-packs made from fragile composite boards that wobble after a few months of family use, backed by confusing assembly manuals and inflated delivery charges.

To bring warm, characterful, and dependable furniture directly to homes across the UK, we launched our official direct-to-consumer online platform—countrycreaminteriors.com. While proud of our Ilkeston high-street roots, this online storefront operates as our independent digital home. Every single item in our digital showroom is 100% brand-new, factory-sealed, and designed for real British domestic living—from extendable natural oak and painted dining tables, to multi-tier ladder bookcases, alcove display shelving, and ultra-slim tipping-bucket shoe cabinets finished in warm country cream and muted neutral tones.

Our Independent Merchant Promise

We treat our online customers with the same honesty, warmth, and personal care that has welcomed visitors into our Pelham Street showroom for years:
